Welcome

Thank you for visitng our wedding website. Our childhood friend, Karen Munroe-Rose is a travel agent with Unique Romance Travel and has been involved with planning our honeymoon on Maui! Thank you, Karen!

This sweet little website includes our wedding details as well as our online Honeymoon Registry! We are also registered at Macy's. You can view our online registry details at www.Macys.com.

What you will find here are details to help your travel experience be a smooth and memorable one. If you haven't ever been to LaConner, WA, you are in for a real weekend treat. This tiny hostorical city is home to the Annual Skagit Valley Tulip Festival in April. Located just 1:15 minutes north of Seattle, LaConner is nestled along the Swinomish Channel, which is a natural waterway connecting to Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands. You will find lovely boutiques filled with local artisan works, art galleries, antique shops and delicious eateries which feature local farmer's and fisherman's bounty.

A block of rooms have been reserved at LaConner's Channel Lodge and LaConner Country Inn. Both are located at the edge of downtown LaConner along the Channel. To view, go to www.laconnerlodging.com To make reservations, call 360-466-1500 and reference Bullock-Railton Wedding. Reservations must be made no later than July 5. After that date, the room block will be lifted for first come, first serve.

You are, by no means, obligated to stay at either locations.  I do have a group rate at the above locations, but you are welcome to stay wherever you wish. There is also a B&B in town called The Wild Iris Inn. Their phone: 360-466-1400.  You may also search for accommodations in Anacortes or Mt. Vernon.

 0.1 you have arrived!

Our ceremony will commence at 1'oclock in the afternoon, Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the residence of Bob & Jody Railton (Carrie's parents). Located in Shelter Bay, our special day will be on the beautiful patio overlooking a small marina, surrounded by evergreens.

There will be a catered lunch, by Cafe Burlington, who will be serving alder planked salmon and steak, accompanied by farm-to-table fresh, local vegetables and seasonal fruit. BERRIES! Wine, beer and a delicious basil-lemonade will be available to quench your thirst.

Being on Puget Sound is always an idicator that the weather can change in an afternoon. Of course we're anticipating warm, sunny and beautiful weather. Please pack a light sweater, shawl or jacket, just in case we get some light winds from the Straights of Juan de Fuca. Pray for sunshine!!

Yes, please!! Snap as many photos as you wish, as long as you're willing to share them with us.

Just in case you're the type that requires humn-to-human interaction, please feel free to contact us.
